Cookie Policy

Which cookies this website sets, why, and how to change your choice at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels are covered by this policy too.

This policy covers the eSIMLab marketing website and workspace. Storefronts run by our customers publish their own cookie information, which they control.

2. Categories we use

Necessary

Required for the site to work: keeping you signed in, security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. These are set without consent because the site cannot function without them.

Functional

Remember a preference, such as the language of the workspace, and keep the support chat working. Two cookies are in this category, one of them our chat provider's.

Analytics and marketing

The preferences banner offers both, and today neither sets anything: no analytics tool and no advertising tag runs on this site. The switches are there so that a choice is on record before one ever does, not because something is already measuring you.

3. The cookies we set

Four of ours, and the support chat's. The chat's cookie is set only once you allow functional cookies, or when you are signed in to the workspace.

4. Consent

On your first visit a banner offers three equal choices: accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

Until you choose, only the necessary cookies above are set. Nothing else is waiting behind the banner today.

Your choice is stored for 180 days, after which we ask again.

5. Changing your mind

Open Cookie preferences in the footer of any page to change or withdraw consent at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, which will make the banner appear again.

6. Third parties

One third party sets a cookie: Crisp, which runs the support chat. On these pages it loads only once you allow functional cookies; in the workspace it is part of the support that comes with your subscription. When you are signed in, the chat carries your name, email address and workspace, so we can answer without asking who you are. Any other third party is listed in the table above before it is switched on, and never for its own advertising.

7. Changes

When we add or remove a tool that sets cookies, we update this page and the date at the top, and ask for consent again where the change requires it.

Questions about this document

Write to us through the contact form, choosing "Legal and invoicing" as the reason. We answer in writing.

This is a draft. It has not been through legal review, it names no company registration, no governing law and no liability cap, and it is not in force. Where a clause needs one of those, it says so where the clause is, rather than carrying a number nobody has agreed to.
